You have all probably come across something in recent times that has been shot at you through the hilarity cannon. R. Kelly might have featured. In the Closet, Real Talk, Sex Planet– the man is a god of internet viral comedy. You’ve also probably been sent the fantastic Channel 101 show Yacht Rock, leading to amusing encounters with Michael McDonald’s Smooth music. The thing is though; you love the smooth grooves, don’t you? You’re ashamed to admit it, sure but you’re addicted to the 80s production sheen, aren’t you? You secretly want Robert Kelly to unleash his mighty #1 machine on you, don’t you?
At this stage, I can confidently say that I don’t possess any “secret” shames– they’re all very public. Here are a few of my current favourites that just won’t go away.
So what are your secret shames that you can’t admit to liking (loving) during public gatherings? Post links here so that we can get these things said out loud and in front of real human beings and perhaps even groove on it, somewhere down the line.
